We are honoured to announce Motivi di Gioia, Mirco Marchelli’s Solo Exhibition at our Madrid Gallery, gathering the latest body of work by the Italian artist.
Mirco is what we call in Spain “a lost verse”. Following the rich tradition of the Italian Movement Arte Povera, Mirco brings the color, the joy and the finesse that sometimes is lacking in Povera Art.

For Mirco Marchelli (Italy, 1963) rhythm is vital. That within oneself and within his creations.
Temporary objects are important because of the infinite variations in which the vision of reality is arranged. His artworks pursue each other in an infinite dance. Without the constriction of any framework, they are close to the vibration produced by the «other place» where they belong, between painting, sculpture and object.
