About
Lives and works in Valencia, Spain
The work of José Luis Cremades is a reflection on the pictorial practice itself, understood by the artist as a living language in constant transformation. Through his own resources – composition, color, texture, rhythm… – he builds abstract works of unique presence and meaning.
In this way, Cremades offers the viewer an almost mystical, spiritual space for contemplation and reflection, in which the result of his practice and constant insistence on painting, ends up revealing to us what previously remained hidden.
He has exhibited his work in institutions such as the Centro Párraga, Murcia, or the MuVIM, Valencia; as well as the MAC, A Coruña, Casal Solleric, Palma de Mallorca and Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània, Valencia.
