Isidre Enrich

About
Lives and works in Igualada, Spain.
Isidre Enrich is a young Spanish artist working within the fine line that divides abstraction from figuration. His work is mainly focused on nature and its warm and earthy colors.
Isidre translates an apparent simple artistic exercise into something filled with inspiration. He proposes minimal, reduced and elementary shapes that contain their architecture. Simple flowers painted without any objectivity, transforming the will of the artist as a form of self-consciousness.
Each image expresses its strength individually, with a composition that defies format and proposes surprising undulations full of sensuality and movement. Textures, transparencies, solid colours and, at the same time, a blurred line that grows upwards or fades away, expressing much more than just a flower, underlying the concept of ‘vanitas’ as the pleasure of what is simple and beautiful.
«The almost disconcerting youth of Isidre Enrich might catch us off guard, but the energy that makes his work so vibrant is more than just youth—it is the force of discovering the world. Both the real world and the world of form. Isidre Enrich invites us to take part in this powerful celebration of his discovery. And for those of us who have reached a certain age, his vision, his persistence, his imagination, his strength… his grace—renew and inspire us.»
