For the first time in Spain, we are excited to present the first solo exhibition by South Korean artist Rala Choi at Alzueta Gallery.

Born in Gimhae, South Korea, in 1987, Rala Choi is known for his passionate work that strives to capture raw emotions and study the intricate relationships between individuals. In this exhibition, he continues along this line, showcasing a series of his latest photographs, where he establishes an impassioned narrative with the observer.

Under the framework of a romantic relationship, we are transported into the inside of a love affair between two people. Different stages of emotional and sexual connections evolve before our eyes. As silent spectators and in chronological order, we are presented with the diverse phases of a romantic story. Love grows with ups and downs in four acts as in a theater play; starting calm, rising action, leading into complications and crisis and finally ending up in (bitter-) sweet resolution.
