Alzueta Gallery is delighted to announce, for the first time, our participation at Masterpiece London 2022. The Royal Hospital Chelsea will be hosting the fair after a long-awaited break. A space where the finest works of art, design, furniture and jewelry gather.
Please feel free to visit us at booth 402 and enjoy a curated selection of our artists: Jordi Alcaraz, Guillem Nadal, Aythamy Armas, Laurent Martin Lo and Lluís Vidal.
Jordi draws an invisible line between visual poetry and conceptual projection, and proposes to the viewer an unprecedented, surprising and metaphorical relationship with the world. A showcase of a game of confronted looks, of material tensions and perforations that allow us to glimpse hidden and magical spaces that transcend the optical exclusivity.

Inspired by his birthplace, the island of Mallorca, Guillem Nadal brings that island feeling into his works. His pieces always evoke the island but also the garden, the earth and land-sea that which flows and that which is beautifully settled.

Aythamy says about his own works that he “focuses on painting, in its possibilities and in the construction of compositions from the values and qualities of paint itself. I understand painting not only as a medium with which represent reality, but as an end in itself. A language that does not try to represent something, but that builds spaces in which to be, endless spaces where to get lost seeing.”

French artist Laurent Martin Lo worked as a creative director in advertising and fashion until he fell deeply in love with bamboo. Such was his obsession that he decided to change his life. Bamboo became his passion and he travelled through Thailand, Laos and Vietnam in order to learn everything he could about it. Evoking flexibility, resistance, poetry and lightness, Lo’s sculptures draw sinuous curves in the air leading the viewers into a state of calm and balance.

Last but not least, Lluís Vidal’s works are always charged with satire and social criticism. This time around, his sculptures are provocative and full of bright colors.
