Julia Alzueta, the co-director of our gallery, was interviewed last September by the magazine. The interview seeked to show Julia’s take on the Contemporary Artworld. Daughter of Miquel Alzueta, Julia began her career at the gallery from a very young age, and together with Miquel she runs the gallery. She mostly focuses on bringing to our spaces new and bold artists that will continue to elevate the gallery level of represented artists and available artworks.
For the interview, Milk Decoration Magazine visited Julia’s home, in order to show to the readers the style and taste of a young gallerist living in Barcelona. Showing the design pieces from her personal collection as well as the artworks she carefully curated for her home. Artworks by Ethan Cook, Manolo Ballesteros, Charles Husser, Richard Serra, Struan Teague and jordi Alcaraz paired with design pieces from Charlotte Perriand, Jean Prouvé and Mathieu Mattegot, just to name a few, Julia Alzueta’s home is elegant yet not pretentious.
